As a Ferry Operations Administrative Specialist, you'll play a critical role in the day-to-day functioning of ferry services. This position goes far beyond traditional office work—it's about managing the behind-the-scenes coordination that allows ferries to run efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This position is located at the Hatteras Operations facilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Management prefers the following:
Knowledge of office or work unit procedures, methods and practices.
General knowledge of office accounting and record keeping procedures, mathematics and their application in the work environment.
Demonstrated ability to gather and give information and instructions regarding the work process or procedures.
Demonstrated ability to learn to use specialized office equipment and software programs such as SAP, Microsoft Office Suit, and others.
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
