Cooperative Contract Specialist

 

Gordian is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join the Coop Relations and Operational Support Team. The Coop Relations and Operational Support team focuses on establishing, and maintaining Job Order Contracting Contracts, specifically in the public cooperative sector.  This individual will support the team in growing Gordian’s cooperative relationships.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with Gordian’s Cooperative Partners 
  • Coordinate, review and distribute critical contractual information to local and external teams
  • Develop and review publicly bid solicitation documents 
  • Manage entire solicitation process from beginning development stage to final execution stage
  • Coordinate and review contract activity to support proper contractor assessments for contract renewals
  • Review and update contract and marketing information on external and internal microsites and landing pages
  • Maintain and update key contractual information and schedules on spreadsheets, files, Smartsheet and other document sources
  • Organize and present in contractor and customer informational, prebid and onboarding meetings and webinars 
  • Coordinate and lead regular cadence meetings with internal and external teams throughout the solicitation process
  • Coordinate and assist in all activities of the Contractor Engagement Team
  • Ensure accounting records match payment reports and activity for our Cooperative Partners
  • Coordinate and distribute key contractual information with Gordian’s Marketing Team
  • Respond and distribute daily contractual inquiries and leads both internally and externally 
  • Assist in the development of daily visual management and tracking of key performance indicators 
  • Manage other projects and initiatives as needed

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, PowerPoint, Excel, and specifically Word
  • Proven Customer Service skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Proven success working in a team environment and creating a positive atmosphere
  • Highly organized and flexible with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must be self-directed, able to complete assignments with limited supervision and independently, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
