Wyoming County Children and Youth Services is eager to welcome a motivated County Social Services Aide 2 to our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide vital services and support to our clients. If you have a passion for helping children and families, the Wyoming County Children’s Bureau is interested in talking to you!
In this important role, you will assist program staff in providing services to clients including children, youth, and families with activities of daily living. You will focus on educating families in parenting, homemaker skills, budgeting, and child development. Work includes transportation of clients and families to appointments and providing supportive casework services. Work will also involve scheduling and accompanying caseworkers on supervised family visitations. You will assist caseworkers in securing and accurately inputting client information such as birth certificates and immunization records into the CAPS program. General office duties include answering phones, filing, and the use of various office equipment. You will have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to develop program knowledge and skills.
