This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Maryland Institute College of Art. We are currently looking for a Regional Recruiter in the United States.

This role is perfect for a dynamic and outgoing professional who will serve as the primary ambassador for higher education in the arts across a designated region. You will actively engage with prospective students, families, and educational institutions to promote academic programs and campus life. By attending fairs, portfolio days, and other recruitment events, you will provide guidance, evaluate portfolios, and build meaningful relationships that drive enrollment. This position combines travel, event management, and one-on-one student engagement to ensure the recruitment strategy effectively reaches and inspires future students.

Accountabilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and attend recruitment events including college fairs, portfolio days, and information sessions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other student feeder sources in the assigned region.
  • Share information on academic programs, student services, and campus culture with prospective students and families.
  • Review and provide feedback on student portfolios both in-person and virtually.
  • Collaborate with admission counselors for follow-up and post-event evaluations.
  • Prepare event reports, maintain recruitment records, and manage expense documentation.
  • Represent the institution professionally at all recruitment events and external engagements.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; BFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, marketing, or education-related roles preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of art, design, and visual culture, and the ability to discuss these subjects confidently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Slack, Workday, and social media platforms.
  • Active US driver’s license and a US-based address to receive promotional materials.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the recruitment cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple events, travel, and remote work efficiently.
