ModSquad is seeking experienced and passionate Customer Service Representatives to join our fully remote team. We’re looking for individuals who enjoy handling complex inquiries related to property taxes.

For this opportunity, you’ll respond to customer questions about tax assessments, appeals, and arbitrations via phone and email, helping them navigate the process of lowering their property tax rates.

You’ll work closely with your team to research accurate information, identify appropriate solutions, and ensure every customer receives clear, detailed, and effective support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.

  • Actively listen to ensure customers feel heard and understood.

  • Provide accurate and timely resolutions.

  • Escalate issues when necessary.

  • Stay up to date on task and policy updates to maintain accuracy.

  • Meet and maintain individual performance metrics.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Friendly, helpful, and upbeat communication style.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior property tax experience is a plus.

  • Excellent command of grammar and written communication.

Hours of Operation (Pacific Time):

  • Daily, 6 AM - 5 PM

Commitments:

  • Self-schedule 20 hours per week

  • Minimum of 90-days (as needed)

Workspace Requirements:

  • A dedicated laptop or desktop computer running Windows 11

  • A working webcam and willingness to use it during orientation/as needed by project

  • Must be willing to download and install ModSquad security systems on your computer and mobile phone

  • Stable broadband internet connection of 50 MBPS or greater

  • 8 GB RAM or better

  • Dual monitors highly recommended

Please note:  A Chromebook is not sufficient for ModSquad projects.
