This role is ideal for a highly motivated, strategic sales leader with experience in federal and national security sectors. The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals, driving complex deals with large federal agencies. You will be responsible for defining and executing sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth across your assigned territory. The role requires a results-oriented mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies and mentoring future sales leaders. This position offers the chance to work in a remote-first environment, collaborating across multiple time zones while delivering measurable business impact.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5–7 Federal National Security/Intel Community sales representatives.
  • Build and coach the sales team to become future leaders, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Develop and execute business plans to exceed sales goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire sales ecosystem, from generating leads to closing complex deals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor team members on best practices, sales methodologies, and effective customer engagement.
  • Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours to accommodate remote, multi-time-zone operations.


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading federal national security or intelligence community sales teams.
  • Active security clearance (TC/SCI preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving annual overperformance.
  • Experience leading teams that sell through security channel partners.
  • Expertise navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • SaaS sales experience in cloud, IT operations, metrics, logs, or security solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling large deals to large enterprises (Fortune 1000).
  • Proficiency with MEDDIC methodology for pipeline management and account development.
  • Ability to develop pipeline, open new accounts, and drive long-term customer engagement.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or machine learning solutions.
