As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee the successful execution of clinical trials, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met across global operations. You'll act as the key liaison between internal teams and clients, bringing strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication to every stage of the project lifecycle. Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for clients, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors to meet project timelines, scope, and budget expectations.
- Oversee study budgets, scope changes, and contract execution, ensuring financial performance and profitability.
- Guide clinical operations and may take on direct clinical responsibilities for smaller-scale studies.
- Manage project plans and risk mitigation strategies to maintain consistent and high-quality trial execution.
- Ensure inspection readiness and quality compliance, including corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitor team progress and trial performance using tracking metrics and KPIs.
- Lead meetings, provide regular project status updates, and present solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support training initiatives, bid defenses, and business development efforts.
- Mentor team members and contribute to performance reviews and team development.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in clinical research and a minimum of 4 years in direct project management.
- Demonstrated success managing global, complex clinical trials, especially within oncology or cell/gene therapy.
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, project management tools, and clinical trial systems (eTMF, CTMS, EDC).
- Skilled in project planning, risk and change management, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience in bid defenses and client-facing presentations is a plus.
