Overview:

This Sr. Financial Analyst role has joint duties supporting Incentive Compensation and Business Operations for PeopleReady brands. 

This role will work with incentive compensation and business unit finance leaders to provide calculation and accrual support of incentive compensation programs as well as data collection, reporting, technology, and analytical support for the business. This role works closely with global counterparts, providing another line of review & support to existing leadership team. Key stakeholders are finance and business leaders.

Responsibilities:

Incentive Calculation & Accruals

  • Applies consistent and compliant calculation methodology of metric-based incentive plans as well as the distribution of calculation worksheets, payroll loader files and related journal entries.  
  • Provides expertise and support by completing secondary reviews, prioritizing inquires, and ensuring timely resolution with follow up.  

Reporting & Analysis 

  • Prepares monthly incentive reporting and conducts analysis that provides insight into plan performance.
  • Provides incentive compensation, sales, and operational support through the generation of ad‐hoc reports to identify trends and business recommendations while continuously improving processes and reporting for end users. 
  • Assists during quarterly forecasting and annual budget processes. 
  • Reviews monthly P&Ls and month end financial reporting packages, working with finance partners in analysis of results to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations.

Technology

  • Subject matter expert for technologies/application used in incentive compensation. 
  • Leads the user acceptance testing and implementation of new applications and upgrades. 
  • Develops user procedures and documentation; conducts trainings for incentive compensation applications.    

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 4+  years related experience
  • Familiarity with key financial statements (income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet) a plus
  • Experience leveraging data working with modern technologies and BI tools.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate across the organization as a valued partner 

Technical & Data Skills   

  • Strong interest and experience learning and working with new software tools 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint and Word.   Knowledge of SQL & Tableau a plus.
  • Ability to clean, process, & review data from multiple sources. Transforming it into a format for actionable insights. 

Salary Range: $75,600 - $94,600 annually depending on experience and geographic location.
Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
