Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager

 

Omnicell, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our team. The person filling this role needs a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling risk management and compliance strategies in a written context. The successful candidate will be familiar with US Government acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS/VAARS), have supported both US proposals and contracts, and be experienced with federal compliance requirements. The person filling this role must leverage their knowledge and skills to collaborate with a complex set of internal and external stakeholders to determine the right goals and inform decisions. The successful candidate will design long-term risk management solutions for Omnicell’s compliance, acquisition, and contract execution strategies.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Leverage your familiarity with US Government acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS/GSA/VA FSS) and compliance requirements to develop acquisition and contract execution strategies applicable for US and international government customers
  • Establish Risk Management Framework for Omnicell
  • Develop and use deep industry background that enables you to engage and communicate effectively on a wide range of technical and business discussions with customers, partners, and internal team members
  • Leverage your expertise and judgment to work through and document strategy for Omnicell compliance and risk management, including relevant stakeholders
  • Identify and assess risks associated with government contracts and implement a continuous risk monitoring process
  • Identify and clear blockers with the right resources, escalating when appropriate
  • Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through complex problems, weighing various priorities and options, and managing multiple options and constraints
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to peers and leadership on the risk management plans, status, and critical issues
  • Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues
  • Drive adoption of best practices for operational excellence
  • Accelerate progress by creating or optimizing multiple cross-team procedures to help Omnicell business scale

Regulatory Compliance function

  • Serves as the primary liaison for Department of Veterans Affairs Federal Supply Schedule contract audits. 
  • Responsible for overseeing compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), FAR Supplements, and internal guidelines. 
  • Delivers compliance training, workshops, and materials to educate employees and management on regulatory standards, requirements, and best practices.

Corporate Compliance

  • Support other corporate compliance initiatives, as needed, to advance the overall corporate compliance strategy

 

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8 + years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
  • 8 + years of experience developing and implementing standards, policies and programs or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience with Department of Veterans Affairs Federal Supply Schedule contracts
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

     

Preferred:

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
  • Previous experience in operationalizing risk management and/or compliance obligations at a medical device manufacturer
