Job Description

We are seeking a talented strategic operator to play a key role in A Place for Mom’s fast-growing Home Care division. This role is central to shaping and executing initiatives that accelerate growth, improve provider and family experiences, and drive operational excellence. You will lead critical projects end to end — defining success criteria, managing execution across functions, and ensuring delivery in partnership with teams including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Analytics, and Engineering.

Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Operations – Home Care, you will be a trusted partner in turning strategy into execution.

What You Will Do

  • Manage Strategic Initiatives
    • Lead execution of Home Care’s strategic priorities; scope, resource, and track projects to completion
    • Manage risk, escalate issues quickly, and propose solutions to keep initiatives on track
    • Build frameworks, analyses, and recommendations that inform leadership decisions
  • Develop Market & Business Insights
    • Analyze provider performance, consumer trends, and industry benchmarks to surface opportunities
    • Support business cases for new pilots, initiatives, and investments
    • Develop executive-ready materials summarizing insights and recommendations
  • Drive Operational Excellence
    • Implement project management processes, timelines, and reporting for accountability
    • Create dashboards and tracking tools to measure initiative progress and impact
    • Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements to accelerate execution
    • Contribute to project management best practices and tools within Home Care
  • Lead Through Influence
    • Partner with Home Care leadership to set priorities and communicate progress
    • Prepare and facilitate senior leadership updates, quarterly reviews, and planning sessions
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, urgency, and results
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in strategy, business operations, consulting, or program management (healthcare or marketplace experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or product management certification a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Excel proficiency required, BI/SQL a plus
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional projects from scoping through delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to create executive-ready materials
  • Skilled collaborator and influencer, with ability to navigate conflict and build consensus
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and execution-oriented
  • Startup or growth-stage company experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership potential: models ownership, mentors peers, and drives accountability

Additional information

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $120,000-$140,000
  • Bonus: 10%
