Boston Government Services, LLC is looking for a Technical Closeout Coordinator to support the Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) office in Golden, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

Supports the DOE EERE in closeout of Financial Assistance awards.  Activities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and sending notifications to projects in closeout to obtain final reporting requirements.
• Reviewing final technical reports; providing feedback to the Technical Project Officer/Technology Manager on the quality of the deliverable.
• Tracking Project Expiration; running queries in online databases; providing monthly reports on awards scheduled to close.
• Preparing analysis and presentations on project closeouts.
• Ensuring award closeout packages are complete before sending to Procurement.
• Analyzing, reviewing, and compiling project financial reports, technical reports, government furnished property report, and patent certifications for compliance and completion of closeout.

• Demonstrated oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Excel is key!)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Project Management, or related field
• >3 years’ experience
• Understanding of program funding and activity data for the development of performance metrics and budgeting

Desired Skills:

• Experience in budgeting, finance, or technology development and deployment
• Experience supporting Federal programs, Government Contracting experience preferred
• Understanding of project management practices (PMP Certification is a plus!)
• Knowledge of DOE systems:  STRIPES, SharePoint, iPortal
