Job Summary
Loudoun County Public Library (LCPL) is offering collaborative, energetic, community-oriented candidates the opportunity to become a full-time Teen Services Librarian at the Rust Library in Leesburg, VA.
As a member of an enthusiastic team, Teen Services Librarians:- Provide direct customer service in reference, reader's advisory, programming and circulation functions.
- Assist customers in the use of library resources and technologies.
- Work in a collaborative environment with other staff to complete daily tasks, conduct programs and coordinate outreach.
- Plan and lead programs for Teens.
- Conduct outreach and create partnerships with community organizations.
LCPL provides services seven (7) days a week. Work schedules vary and include weekends, evenings and holidays. This position requires occasional participation in After Hours Teen Center, an event for students in Grades 6-12 that occurs every Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited school; six (6) months of related library experience.
Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred. Loudoun County provides a language stipend for individuals who pass a language proficiency test. Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
