About the Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Analyst with expertise in data governance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining master data solutions within our data governance platform, Precisely. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data standards are upheld, processes are streamlined, and data is effectively leveraged across the organization. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Build, configure, and maintain master data solutions in Precisely to support enterprise data governance objectives. 

  • Partner with business and technical teams to define, document, and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards. 

  • Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying gaps or inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions. 

  • Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and reporting dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions. 

  • Provide training and support to users to ensure adoption and correct utilization of the data governance tools. 

  • Communicate progress and updates to the ERP Data Management Lead and other relevant stakeholders 

  • Develop and maintain data governance processes and procedures 

  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to integrate Precisely with systems such as SAP and other enterprise platforms. 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data management processes. 

 

Additions 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that the master data meets their requirements while maintaining integrity 

  • Ensure master data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date 

  • Run analysis on master data and complete updates in mass when new requirements or changes are implemented 

  • Provide training and support to business users on how to use master data effectively 

  • Work with other IT/IS team members to integrate data with other systems and applications and understand the impacts 

  • Ensures cross-functional access to systems 

  • Documents, delivers, and administers training and related materials to end users 

  • May provide system support following implementation of new data processes  

  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group 

 

What You'll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 

  • 2+ years of experience in a data governance or data management role. 

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros, data analysis tools). 

  • Hands-on experience with SAP and preferably Precisely or Winshuttle. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Strong understanding of data structures and processes 

  • Experience working with offshore teams 

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization. 

  • Strong understanding of master data management (MDM) principles and best practices. 

  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff 

  • Ability to translate complex technical details into business-friendly language. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with data quality frameworks and compliance standards. 

  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and automation. 

 

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is [$95,000 USD - $105,000 USD]; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
