Overview

Join Phreesia’s Finance team as a Manager, FP&A! You’ll play a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting—specifically focusing on the company’s cost structure. This role includes deep cross-functional collaboration and strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making.


What You'll Do

  • Business Partnering
    • Collaborate with business leaders to build positive relationships and become a trusted financial advisor.
    • Understand data inputs/outputs to influence strategic decisions.
  • Operational Support
    • Partner with cross-functional departments to enhance operational efficiencies across processes and systems.
    • Coordinate cost structure reviews across the organization to control functional spending.
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting
    • Build and maintain financial and operating models to predict performance and evaluate scenarios.
    • Support balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
  • Budgeting & Variance Analysis
    • Assist in developing the annual budget and ongoing forecasts.
    • Perform variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Accounting Collaboration
    • Support Accounting during month-end close with activities such as:
      • Headcount reconciliations
      • Accruals and journal entries
      • Budget vs. actuals reporting
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor KPIs, highlight trends, and provide improvement recommendations.
    • Analyze causes of unexpected variances.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or related fields
  • Experience at a public company is preferred
  • Technical Skills:
    • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong financial modeling and data management skills
    • Adaptive Planning experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Compensation & Work Structure

  • Base Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 (depending on qualifications)
  • Equity: Included in total rewards package
  • Work Style: 100% remote
  • Location Preference: Eastern and Central Time Zones (ET & CT)
