Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead complex projects focused on API integrations within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in API integration, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and proven success in managing cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of API integration projects with healthcare clients, vendors, and EHR systems.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Oversee the integration of systems using healthcare data exchange standards like FHIR, HL7, and X12/EDI.

• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and product teams to define and deliver technical solutions aligned with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including health systems, payers, EHR vendors, and internal leadership.

• Create and manage detailed project documentation including project plans, risk logs, status reports, and change requests.

• Facilitate meetings, agile ceremonies, and decision-making processes across technical and non-technical teams.

• Monitor project performance, ensure QA/testing alignment, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in project management, with at least 5+ years in the healthcare domain.

• Proven track record managing API integration projects in complex, regulated environments.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards: FHIR, HL7, X12/EDI, etc.

• Experience working with major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, Allscripts).

• Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare compliance protocols.

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.

• Familiarity with agile/hybrid methodologies in healthcare IT settings.

• Experience managing third-party vendors or offshore development teams.

• Technical background (e.g., in systems integration, software development, or solution architecture) is a plus.
